“Word City” is this year’s theme in Watermael-Boitsfort/Watermaal-Bosvoorde

 

 Many cultural activities are being created around this theme.

 

  Since  December 2017, a small group of Coin du Balai/Bezemhoek locals have created a team to organise a unique Artists’ Promenade, the weekend of October 13-14, 2018.

 

The team has chosen to follow the  “Word City”  initiative by proposing  “Words of Every Color” for the upcoming Artists’ Promenade.

 Our hope is for writing and art to cross paths.

 

 Artists are asked to create or present at least one piece inspired by or related to words.

The words themselves should be either in the artwork or beside it (on a card, for example).

 

Viewers will be able to express themselves, too, by writing on a post-it near the artwork.

 

We are looking forward to a wonderful occasion for dialogue between artists and visitors.

 

Artists are also welcome to exhibit works other than their “Words” piece.
